On behalf of James Chapman confectioner & Mary Chapman daughter of said James Chapman in Dundee - (1) feu disp granted by William Just mason at Justfield - 2 Dec 1826; (2) decree of gen service in favour of Margaret Ritchie / Chapman wife of said James Chapman, & Helen Ritchie servant to Peter Geekie residing Blairgowrie, as only surviving children & heirs of Thomas Ritchie mason at Waterside Newport - 3 Sep 1851; (3) disp & assig by said Helen Ritchie in favour of James Chapman whom failing to said Mary Chapman, daughter, of pro indiviso half of the subjects after described - 10 Jun 1853; (4) decree of gen serv in favour of said Mary Chapman as only surviving child & heir of mother said Margaret Ritchie / Chapman - 6 Jul 1853; by which disp (no. 1) William Just disponed to Thomas Ritchie mason at Waterside & his heirs - piece of ground part of Broadhaugh bounded by property belonging to Andrew Kilgour on E, by Thomas Just's property on W, by King's highway on S, by road leading from the common highway to the sea on the N parts, part of Inverdovat ... privilege of shipping & unloading goods ... by said road leading to the King's highway, entry at Martinmas 1826; ...
