Cupar 27 October 1835 … On 17 September 1835 appeared Ann Just / Baird, daughter of deceased Thomas Just mason Broadhaugh and spouse of Arthur Baird weaver at Broadhaugh, & John Just, mason Newport, bailie … Thomas Just, mason, disp to Ann Just / Baird all & whole the 2 houses & yard at Broadhaugh now or formerly possessed by William Scott, weaver, & said Arthur Baird with garden behind & on W side of same, bounded by the high road on S; by Thomas Just's property divided by a hedge on W; by high water mark on N; by Thomas Just's property on E, which E boundary runs in a straight line with the E gable wall of the house possessed by said William Scott to the said high water mark; & privilege of well on W side of said hedge … part of those feued to said Thomas Just from John Lyon late of Inverdovat, … dated at Dundee 11 February 1807 … witnesses 1835 [include] James Duncan, spirit dealer, Newport … RS 32/209/147
