Cupar 25 Sep 1821 … was produced this sasine: on 17 Sep 1821 appeared Robert Duncan mason Scotscraig as procurator for William Just & John Ritchie labourer residing at Inverdovat Cottown as bailie .. charter of resignation by William Berry containing sasine by William Berry disp. to William Just … (1) all & whole .. .the Wellgate Park which is enclosed with a stone dyke on 3 sides & a hedge on the E side with the houses built thereon; (2) also that croft of land with houses thereon being the whole as sometime possessed by George Ireland commonly called Broadhaugh bounded by Robert Russell's land on E, by land feued by John Lyon, Kinnaird to - on W, by King's highway which divides this land from the said Wellgate Park on S, and by the high water mark on N; both pieces of land being parts of Inverdovat, with privilege of shipping & unloading … by a road on the said lands leading from the King's high road, declaring that William Just shall build a sufficient stone fence on E & S sides of Wellgate Park and reserving to William Berry the use of said road on said lands for carrying goods to & from the sea … witnessed by David Just, mason, residing upon the lands, & George Ritchie, servant to Thomas Just, tenant in said lands … RS 32/121/139
