Election of Town Councillors: Ward 1: Frank Fairweather, 6 Woodriffe Terrace, no poll. Ward 2: Thomas Mitchell, Ellenmount, Castle Brae, no poll. Ward 3: William Ramsay, JP, Ivybank, Hillpark Road, no poll.
Council: Ward 1: Charles M Hunter, elected 1934; Arthur S Cram, elected 1935; Frank Howard Fairweather, elected 1936, Junior Bailie. Ward 2: George Scrymgeour, elected 1932, Provost; George Peattie, elected 1935; Thomas Mitchell, elected 1936, Senior Bailie. Ward 3: George R Little, elected 1934; John Wilkie, elected 1935; William Ramsay, elected 1936.
Seacraig Cottages: closing order issued (as they are only part of the building).
Duncan's property, William Street: tentative proposals for improvement.
Petition for rail halt in the vicinity of Flass Road - supported by Council.

Houses unfit: roll no. 611 - Georgina Taylor, 5 occupants; no. 612 - Margaret Ross, 1 occupant; no. 613 - Lily Batchelor, 2 occupants; no. 614 - Maitland Knight, 5 occupants; no. 615 - Andrew Murray, 5 occupants; no. 616 - James Rodger, 3 occupants; no. 617 - Charles Campbell, 8 occupants; no. 618 - duplicate of 614, entered twice; no. 619 - Elizabeth McCall, 1 occupant; no. 620 - Annie Smith, 1 occupant; no. 621 - James Forbes, 4 occupants; no. 622 - duplicate of 616, entered twice; no. 623 - Melville Fisher, 2 occupants; no. 624 - George W Dixon, 3 occupants. King Street site: difficulty over title, agreed to purchase.
Kempstane & Pluck-the-Craw: suggested just to board them up - this was not acceptable.
Mars Gardens (1937) scheme [i.e. Woodhaven Avenue].
? Showroom for gas in centre of burgh?
Feu of ground at Woodhaven from St Fort for housing scheme.
Coronation celebrations, 12 May 1937: church services; fancy dress parade headed by pipe band of 33rd Dundee Co. Boys Brigade; opening by Convener Wilkie of swings, etc.; planting of tree by Provost Scrimgeour; concert at night; choir / lecture on Gilbert & Sullivan; bonfire on braes lit by Miss Flora Scrimgeour. Thanks to Mr Strath & Mr Hugh Muir and other teachers at Newport School for organising the sports.
Coronation fancy dress parade: judges - Provost & Miss Scrimgeour, Mrs Dickie (daughter of provost), Bailie Mitchell, Councillor & Mrs Hunter, Councillor & Mrs Cram, Councillor Peattie, ex-provost Young, Mr & Mrs Frank H Morrison, Mrs W B Edward, Mr & Mrs D S Mitchell, Mr B Howard, Mr J Meldrum Smith, Mr A D Forrest, Mr C J Harrison, Mr J Melville.
Woodhaven pavement should be widened where the house was demolished.
Graham Place: demolished and levelled.
Wood and footpath at east of Woodhaven Avenue to be feued. Scheme to consist of 12 x 4-apt. and 8 x 3-apt. houses.
Kempstane & Pluck-the-Craw: houses demolished (site left in an unsightly condition).
Rainfall registered at Seabank, Tay Street for 1932 - 1936.
Graham Place site to be made a viewpoint and open space.
Resignation of Bailie Mitchell as a Councillor. Retiring: Little, Scrymgeour, Hunter.
Royal Buildings and C C Duncan's property (William Street): repairs and alterations to be made. Works on Royal Buildings by 30 September 1938. Works on Duncan's property, William Street to be carried out by 30 November 1938.
Work on Riverside Cottages - by 30 November 1938; work on Wormit Farm Cottages would be carried out; work on Craighead Farm Cottages and Holly Cottages - carried over.
