It is a large building four storeys high. A few yards from the house is the garden, which is large and well kept, the home farm buildings and stabling are north of the garden. In the parks around the house are some fine timber. There are two lodges, from their position called the north and south lodges, occupied by the gardeners. The present tenant is James Paton, Merchant, Montrose, the proprietor is John Berry W.S., Edinburgh.OS1/13/34/9
